Rafael Albuquerque

Rafael Albuquerque is an artist from Porto Alegre, winner of the Eisner, Harvey and Inkpot Award and featured on the NY Times Bestseller list. Since 2005, he has worked for the largest North American publishers, on projects such as All Star Batman, Batgirl, Huck and Eight. He is one of the founding members of the Stout Club, in partnership with Mateus Santolouco, Eduardo Medeiros and Rafael Scavone, responsible for publishing Funny Creek, Open Bar, Hidden Society, Mondo Urbano and several other books, since 2019. Among his main works are Vampiro Americano (with Scott Snyder and Stephen King), Study in Esmeralda (with Rafael Scavone and Neil Gaiman) and Detective Comics (with Ram V and Ivan Reis). Rafael currently works on Duck and Cover, in partnership with Scott Snyder and Crimeland, with Rafael Scavone, both for Comixology Originals.
