Gillian Jacobs

A natural talent, with a striking presence and undeniable energy, Gillian Jacobs is one of Hollywood's most vibrant young actresses. Most recently, Jacobs can be seen as a guest actor in Emmy Award winning series THE BEAR as Tiffany Jerimovich, Richie’s ex-wife, who is portrayed by Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Jacobs also recently starred in the Netflix original series TRANSATLANTIC, a WWII drama that follows the story of American allies forming a rescue operation in Marseilles to help refugees fleeing Europe. She also starred in three seasons of LOVE, another Netflix original series produced by Judd Apatow, where she plays ‘Mickey’, a woman navigating the ups and downs of intimacy and commitment. Jacobs continues to lend her voice to AMAZON’S INVINCIBLE alongside Steven Yeun. Based on the Skybound/Image comic about a teenager whose father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Jacobs voices Atom Eve, Invincible's first superhero friend. In 2015, Jacobs co-starred in the fourth season of the HBO hit series GIRLS as fan-favorite ‘Mimi Rose Howard’, the multimedia artist who doesn’t agree with ‘Hannah’s’ (Lena Dunham) interpretations about art and challenges her ideas. Jacobs also starred in the critically acclaimed comedy COMMUNITY. She was nominated for a Broadcast Television Journalists Association Award in the category of Best Comedy Supporting Actress on behalf of her performance as “Britta”. Additionally, the show won a Broadcast Television Journalists Association award in the category of Best Comedy Series in 2012.
