Marina Ruy Barbosa began her acting career at the age of 9, on Rede Globo. She has acted in 3 miniseries, 3 films and more than 13 soap operas. Furthermore, she has starred in 2 films on the big screen. In 2018, Marina was the first actress to appear on the cover of Vogue Brasil after 20 years. Later this year, the actress was named queen of the Vogue Ball. Furthermore, she has modeled 3 times at Milan Fashion Week for Dolce & Gabbana, has been on the red carpet at the Cannes Festival in 2019, 2021 and 2022 at the invitation of the brand Choppard and presented the Award for Best Non-English Language Program.
