Sidney Gusman

Sidney Gusman is a journalist specializing in comics and is considered one of Brazil's foremost experts on the subject. He has edited revered works such as Sandman, Zap Comix, Dragon Ball, Cavaleiros do Zodíaco, One Piece, and Wizard magazine, among others.

He has authored books including '100 Respostas sobre Super-Heróis,' '100 Respostas sobre Hanna-Barbera,' '100 Respostas sobre Batman,' all published by Editora Abril, and 'Mauricio – Quadrinho a Quadrinho' by Editora Globo.

Since October 2006, he has been the editor at Mauricio de Sousa Produções, and he has initiated projects such as the MSP 50 trilogy, Ouro da Casa, Mônica(s), Memórias do Mauricio, Graphic MSP, Horácio Completo, and others.

He also serves as the editor-in-chief of Universo HQ (www.universohq.com), the country's leading comic book website.

In 2022, he was named Professional of the Year – Endemic, by CCXP Awards.
