Bruno Zago

Bruno Zago was born in 1985, graduated in Advertising and Public Relations, and has always been involved in the world of comics in some way. First, as a reader, then as a collector and fanzine maker. In 2009, he created the Pipoca & Nanquim channel to talk about comics and cinema on the internet, something he continues to do today alongside his friends Alexandre Callari and Daniel Lopes. Between 2011 and 2014, he co-authored the Quadrinhos no Cinema book trilogy (Generale publisher), also with Alexandre and Daniel. In January 2013, he became the manga editor at Panini, working on works such as Dragon Ball, Pokémon, Vagabond, One-Punch Man, Lobo Solitário, among others. A few years later, in 2017, he left this job to help turn Pipoca & Nanquim into a publisher of comics and books. Today, he divides his time between being a businessman, editor, YouTube presenter, and... comic book writer! His first published graphic novel is Ogiva, made in partnership with the award-winning artist Guilherme Petreca, which began to take shape in 2014 and, in 2020, became part of the Original Pipoca & Nanquim label. In 2024, the universe of the graphic novel will expand into a live-action film, in partnership with Monolito Produções.
