Daniel Lopes

Daniel Lopes was born in São José dos Campos in 1985 and graduated in Economics from UNESP in 2010, completing his studies with the thesis “Constitution and Recent Dynamics of the Comic Book Market in Brazil.” He co-authored the three books in the Quadrinhos no Cinema series, released by Generale publisher between 2011 and 2013. He worked as an editor and translator at Panini Comics from 2012 to 2017, being one of the people responsible for DC Comics and the Vertigo imprint titles. Since 2010, he has been a part of Pipoca & Nanquim, a YouTube channel specialized in pop culture, which evolved into a publisher in 2017. In 2024, he made his debut as a comic book writer with the book 100 Discos Para Conhecer Aguardela.
