He’s won every award the industry has; is an international bestseller. The story arc “Dark Phoenix” with its radical treatment of the story’s central character paved the way for the reinterpretation of superhero mythos throughout the comics industry. His work is lauded for its anti-prejudice themes, and groundbreaking inclusion of women and minorities as heroes. His stories are the source material for Marvel’s string of X-Men movie, streaming and TV projects. Chris created many popular characters including Gambit, Rogue, Kitty Pryde, Legion, the White Queen, and brought Wolverine to life. Comic series include The Uncanny X-Men, The New Mutants, Wolverine, Fantastic Four.
