Raphael Salimena

Raphael Salimena is from Juiz de Fora (state of Minas Gerias) and has been making comics since 2006. Initially published on a blog, then on social media and now sent directly to subscribers, his strip "Linhadotrem" has been circulating on digital media for 18 years and won the HQMIX Trophy on five occasions - two of them in the collection "O que tem pra Hoje", published in 2022 by Editora Draco. In addition to the annual collections of strips, he also published for Draco the space-opera "Vagabundos no Espaço", the one-shot "Argos" with Leo Martinelli, and participated in the collections "O Rei Amarelo em Quadrinhos" and "Pobrefobia". This year he launches in partnership with Pipoca e Nanquim launches, the book "100 discs to know Aguardela", telling the story of a place through the covers of fictional music albums.
