Marcelo Hessel

Marcelo Hessel is a 44-year-old journalist born in São Paulo, SP. He has been a critic and writer for Omelete since 2001, joining the Associação Paulista dos Críticos de Arte (APCA) in 2002. Since 2016, he has been part of the critics' panel for the Guia da Folha. Marcelo has contributed to the magazine Bizz and other publications from Editora Abril and Globo, as well as programs like Metrópolis on TV Cultura. Currently, he serves as the editor for Omelete and hosts OmeleTV. He is also a co-author of the book "Almanaque do Cinema."
