Luiz Gonzaga Assis de Luca

Luiz holds a degree in Public Administration from EAESP-FGV, and a master’s and PhD in Communication Sciences from ECA-USP. He was the President of Cinépolis Brazil and Managing Director of Kinoplex. He began his career as a film club organizer at Embrafilme (a state-owned company under the Ministry of Education and Culture), where he rose to the position of Superintendent of Commercialization. He has worked in film production at Maurício de Sousa Studios, FJLucas Video, and Empresa Sul Paulista. He served on the National Film Council and the Steering Committee of the Audiovisual Sector Fund. He is the author of several books and articles.
