Igor Bastos

Igor Bastos, the youngest director in Brazilian history to direct an animated feature film, began production at 23 and finished at 27. He achieved this title with the film "Placa-Mãe", which was shown at more than 100 festivals in more than 20 countries, with highlights including selections such as the "44th International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana", the "40th Chicago International Children's Film Festival", and the "56th SITGES International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia". He is currently directing his second feature film, "Santos Dumont - The Boy Who Wanted to Fly", which is scheduled for release in 2027.
