Ernesto Paglia

Ernesto Paglia is a journalist who graduated from ECA-USP. He worked at TV Globo from May 1979 to December 2022, building one of the most respected careers in Brazilian journalism. He participated in the coverage of eight FIFA World Cups and three Olympics, in addition to being part of the team responsible for the renovation of Globo Repórter in 1983, where he participated in more than sixty documentaries. In 1996, he was part of the first GloboNews team and, later, was a correspondent in London for five years. From 2010 to 2013, he participated in the development of the Globo Mar project and also worked on JN no Ar, a series of reports carried out in all states of the country, an experience that resulted in the book “JN no Ar Logbook”. Recognized for his contribution to journalism, Paglia received the Comunique-se Award as Best TV Reporter in five editions.
