Marilia Marton holds a degree in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a Master's degree in Smart and Sustainable Cities from Universidade Nove de Julho (UNINOVE). Her professional career is marked by work in the public sector, particularly in leadership positions in the areas of culture and urban management. Throughout her career, Marília has accumulated experience in various spheres of government, including stints at the City Hall and Municipal Chamber of São Caetano do Sul and the São Paulo State Secretariat of Culture, where she served as chief of staff. She is currently the Secretary of State for Culture, Economy, and Creative Industries of the State of São Paulo, leading innovative public policies and projects to promote culture and the creative economy. Recognized for her solid training, strategic vision, and dedication to transformation through culture, Marilia Marton stands out as a public administrator committed to promoting the cultural sector and the sustainable development of cities.
