Carlos Estigarribia

Brazilian entrepreneur and pioneer in the gaming industry, with over two decades of experience leading innovative projects in the gaming, entertainment, and digital experiences sectors.

He founded one of Brazil's first game studios, LocZGames, in 1996, introducing the concept of advergames to the national market and collaborating with major music brands, such as Warner Music Brasil, as well as artists like Gilberto Gil, on the development of interactive games and online experiences.

After selling LocZ to Playphone in 2006, he was invited by Electronic Arts in 2008 to create and lead EA's first studio in Latin America, based in São Paulo. He later served as Head of Country Management at Lockwood Publishing, driving brand partnerships and IP activations within Avakin Life, a mobile metaverse with millions of monthly active users.

He currently serves as VP of Client Relations at OV Entertainment, a network of development studios in Latin America and Europe that creates AAA games and immersive experiences for game publishers, entertainment brands, and major global intellectual properties.
