

Totó Parente
Totó Parente is the Secretary of Culture and Creative Economy for the City of São Paulo, and has a remarkable career in the public sector.
He began his career in public service as a special advisor to the Governor of Mato Grosso (1987-1990) and in the Federal Senate (1995-2000). He was a city councilor in Cuiabá (2000-2004), president of the Committee on Economy and Finance, and rapporteur for the municipal budget.
In 2007, he assumed the National Secretariat for the Development of the Central-West Region and the Constitutional Fund of the Central-West Region.
Totó also served as director and acting president of Embratur (2016), National Secretary for Tourism Structuring at the Ministry of Tourism (2017-2018), and, more recently, Secretary of Institutional Articulation at the Ministry of Planning and Budget (2023).
