Rafael Albuquerque

Rafael Albuquerque has been working in the U.S. comic book industry since 2004 and is best known for his work on All-Star Batman, Animal Man, and Batgirl. He has also created original projects such as Mondo Urbano (2010), Eight (2015), Huck (2015), and especially American Vampire (2010), written with Scott Snyder and Stephen King. The series won both the Eisner and Harvey Awards and became a New York Times bestseller. His most recent projects include Detective Comics, Huck Vol. 2, and Superman Unlimited, a title released by DC Comics alongside the new Superman film. Albuquerque was also recently announced as part of the creative team for Absolute Green Arrow, scheduled for release in early 2026.
