He was born in São Paulo, Capital, so long ago that he no longer remembers the exact date of June 16, 1962. He published his first comic in August 1977, in Papagaio #1, a fanzine made by students of Colégio Equipe (where he never studied). Since then, he has followed the path of independent production, buying an offset printer in 1980 to print and sell his own work on the streets – and in the nightlife of São Paulo. Over nearly half a century, he has published around 3,000 pages of comics across more than 80 titles; always venting his spleen through sharp, provocative humor. Despite being a decrepit and perverted old man, he was twice honored as a “Master of Brazilian Comics,” through the Angelo Agostini (AQC-SP) and HQMix awards. This, he tends to believe, was perhaps because both thought he was already burning in hell for good.
