Lu Cafaggi

Lu Cafaggi is a comic artist from Minas Gerais, more precisely from the city of Belo Horizonte. She began publishing her illustrations and comics online in 2009 and, since then, has worked with independent authorial material and comic reports. She was the winner of the HQ Mix Trophy for her work on the Turma da Mônica graphic novels: "Laços", "Lições" e "Lembranças", made in partnership with her brother, Vitor Cafaggi, and competed for the Jabuti Prize with her work based on the adolescence of writer Bruna Vieira. Her work has already been adapted for film and earned her invitations to participate in festivals and artistic residencies in Sweden.
